Bio

Born: Columbus, Ohio, 1964

One of six children.
I moved around the country most of my childhood, coming to Seattle first in 1984, settling here about three years later.  I attended both the University of Montana and the Art institute of Seattle, briefly.  At the Art Institute, I met and began a dialog with, William Cumming, about painting. This dialog continues to this day.  To say that his introduction of me to his use of color, and the Nabis philosophy influenced me, would be a great understatement. It is the foundation upon which I build many of my paintings. My debt is great, and gratitude, unwavering.
Currently,  I live north of Seattle, with my husband and children.
